Estonian riders Madis Mihkels (EF Education-EasyPost) and Romet Pajur (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe Rookies) participated in the Tour de France criterium in Singapore.
Although Pajur is officially part of the Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe youth team, he was given the opportunity to compete in the main team. His teammate included four-time Vuelta and one-time Giro d'Italia winner Primož Roglič.
Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) took first place, ahead of Biniam Girmay (Intermarché-Wanty) and Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck). Pajur finished 17th and Mihkels 21st, both Estonians losing 17 seconds to the winner.
Mihkels is under contract with EF Education-EasyPost until 2026, while Pajur will also be part of the Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe Rookies team next season, but will probably get the opportunity to compete with the main team.
