Visma-Lease a Bike is looking for a new title sponsor, as the Norwegian business software company Visma is unwilling to increase its contribution. At the same time, the Dutch team is trying to keep pace with the budgets of other top teams such as UAE Team Emirates-XRG, Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, Decathlon-CMA CGM, and Lidl-Trek.

Visma-Lease a Bike is not facing closure—the team will continue with its current sponsors, including Lease a Bike, Rabobank, and PON, which owns Cervélo. Visma will also continue its support, albeit on a reduced scale. However, to remain competitive at the absolute top level, larger budgets will be needed in the coming years.

Discussions with potential sponsors, including large international companies, have reportedly been ongoing for several months under the leadership of team manager Richard Plugge.

The average men's WorldTour team budget in 2025 was 32 million euros, with UAE leading the list at 60 million euros. Visma had approximately 40 million at its disposal. A Money in Sport report on Visma-Lease a Bike's finances showed that the team's revenue—including the women's and development squads—was 52 million euros in 2024, while operating expenses reached nearly 59 million euros, resulting in a 6 million euro loss.

According to Dutch media, Visma's decreasing contribution may be related to their upcoming IPO, as the company adjusts its sponsorship strategy ahead of this step.

The most well-known riders for Visma-Lease a Bike are Jonas Vingegaard, Wout van Aert, Victor Campenaerts, and Steven Kruijswijk.
