18-year-old cycling talent Riko Tammepuu has signed a one-year contract with Finnish continental club UN Cycling Team x Pyörävarikko.
For the past two seasons, Tammepuu has been cycling for the French amateur team U19 Academy Région Sud powered by Giant. This year, Tammepuu won a stage (9.1 km time trial) at the Tour Causses Aigoual Cévennes and was crowned Estonian junior criterium champion.
This season, UN Cycling Team x Pyörävarikko consists of six riders, all Finnish. In addition to Tammepuu, Matias Ahtosalo has also signed a contract for next year.
