The five-stage BikeFanatics CX Cup series begins in Viljandi on Sunday, offering cycling enthusiasts an extension of the season and a smooth transition from road and mountain bike races.
225 competitors have already registered for different age groups, with guests from Latvia adding an international touch. The competition center for the Viljandi stage is located in Peetrimõisa at Kastani 2, competitors have washing facilities at the Viljandi Sports Center, and bike washing is available on site.
The length of the competition circuit is 2.5 km and it is a more difficult than average course, with all the elements characteristic of cyclo-cross: jumps, stairs, running sections, etc. The weather forecast promises pleasant autumn weather, so all conditions are created for a fun competition day.
The remaining stages of the BikeFanatics CX Cup series will take place in Elva (04.10), Rapla (11.10), Tallinn (18.10) and Rakke (25.10).
