The upcoming season of the UCI Gravel World Series will feature 45 stages in 32 countries, with the Tartu Rattamaraton on September 19th also included in the calendar.
Gravel racing is gaining popularity worldwide, and this is reflected in the number of stages – if there were 33 events this year, there will be a dozen more in 2026. The series was launched in 2022 with 12 stages.
In addition to Tartu, there will be other stages in the region: Tukums (Latvia) will host cyclists on August 8th, Halmstad (Sweden) on August 15th, and Lahti (Finland) on September 12th. Besides Europe, the calendar includes stages in Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
The Gravel World Championships will take place in Nannup, Western Australia, on October 10th-11th, and UCI Gravel World Series stages can be used to earn points for a better starting position. A stage will also be held in Nannup in May, offering a chance to familiarize oneself with the conditions of the championship.
