18-year-old cycling talent Riko Tammepuu has signed a one-year contract with the Finnish continental team UN Cycling Team x Pyörävarikko.
For the past two seasons, Tammepuu has been pedaling for the French amateur team U19 Academy Région Sud powered by Giant. This year, Tammepuu won a stage (9.1 km time trial) at the Tour Causses Aigoual Cévennes and was crowned Estonian champion in the junior criterium.
In the current season, the UN Cycling Team x Pyörävarikko roster consists of six riders, all Finns. For next year, a contract has been signed with Matias Ahtosalo in addition to Tammepuu.
