On the 4th stage (132 km) of the ongoing Sharjah Tour in the United Arab Emirates, Rein Taaramäe (Kinan Racing Team) finished 7th, losing 1.04 to the stage winner, New Zealand cyclist Josh Kench (Li Ning Star). The stage concluded with a multi-kilometer mountain finish at an altitude of 544 meters above sea level.
Taaramäe dropped from second to third place overall. The Estonian is 1.02 behind Kench, with second place being 10 seconds away. The tour concludes tomorrow with a stage designed for sprinters, and it is highly likely that there will be no major changes in the overall standings.
