On Sunday, the five-stage BikeFanatics CX Cup series begins in Viljandi, offering cycling enthusiasts an extended season and a smooth transition from road and mountain biking competitions.
A total of 225 competitors have already registered across various age categories, with guests from Latvia adding an international flair. The race center for the Viljandi stage is located in Peetrimõisa at Kastani 2. Washing facilities for competitors are available at the Viljandi Sports Center, and bike washing will be provided on-site.
The race course is 2.5 km long and is considered more challenging than average, featuring all the typical elements of cyclo-cross: jumps, stairs, running sections, etc. The weather forecast predicts pleasant autumn weather, creating all the conditions for an enjoyable race day.
The remaining stages of the BikeFanatics CX Cup series will take place in Elva (04.10), Rapla (11.10), Tallinn (18.10), and Rakke (25.10).
