Madis Mihkels was disappointed with his 14th place finish at Paris-Roubaix, despite being his home team's best performer.
"I'm disappointed with the result, but very happy with my legs. I'll be back next year. Paris-Roubaix is my favorite race," said Mihkels, who was hampered by a puncture in the Arenberg Forest.
EF Education - EasyPost's highly experienced rider Kasper Asgreen was impressed by the performance of the younger squad. At the pre-race meeting, he urged all his teammates to finish the Roubaix velodrome at all costs.
EF Education-EasyPost Sports Director Andreas Klier: "This Paris-Roubaix was very fast. We started well and the riders were in good positions, but then various problems began to plague us. By the end of the day, each of our riders had their own story to tell."
The cobblestone classics season has concluded for this year - EF Education-Easy Post's best achievements were Neilson Powless's victory at Dwars door Vlaanderen and Mihkels' 3rd place at Brugge de Panne.
