Capri-Sun and Eddy Merckx joined forces for a charitable cause

Cycling fans will surely remember the Capri-Sonne team, who rode Eddy Merckx bikes in 1982. Now, the well-known juice drink producer and the Belgian bike brand have joined forces again, this time for a special charity initiative: Capri-Sun Pévèle. The proceeds from the campaign will go to the international non-profit organization War Child, which supports children affected by war. Ordering the bikes has begun, and in Estonia, the representative for Eddy Merckx bikes is Bike Fanatics.

War Child is an international organization that helps children affected by war through education, protection, and psychological support in regions such as Ukraine, the Middle East, and Western Europe.

The Capri-Sun x Eddy Merckx Pévèle C is a versatile road and gravel bike designed for premium performance on both asphalt and gravel roads. The bike is equipped with modern technology, a carbon frame, Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting, and carbon rims. Its geometry allows for a smooth transition between different terrains. With tire clearance up to 38mm, the bike is as flexible as it is stylish.

A limited number of bicycles have been manufactured in Belgium, and their design is inspired by Capri-Sun's iconic colors. Priced at 5,575 euros, the bike can be ordered until the end of September through the official Eddy Merckx website. In addition to the bicycle, Le Coffee Ride will launch a new Capri-Sun cycling jersey based on the 1980s Capri-Sonne team uniforms.
