One of the world's largest tire manufacturers, Pirelli, has signed a contract with the Belgian team Alpecin-Deceuninck until 2029. This means that all teams bearing the Alpecin-Deceuninck name will use tires from the Italian brand, with their debut scheduled for the Tour Down Under cycling race in Australia at the end of the month.
For road bikes, the P ZERO RACE TLR RS tires are mostly used. For rougher terrain races like cobbled classics and Strade Bianche, P ZERO RACE TLR tires can be fitted, and for gravel rides, there are the CINTURATO. For mountain bikes, Pirelli offers the MTB SCORPION XC series with various variations.
Alpecin-Deceuninck star rider Mathieu van der Poel used Pirelli P ZERO RACE TLR RS tires during a training camp and had nothing but praise for them. "I really like these tires. On Spanish roads, which can be slippery in the mornings, they offer ideal grip. I felt in control of the bike in every situation," confirmed the 2023 road cycling world champion and reigning cyclo-cross and gravel world champion.
In Estonia, a wide selection of Pirelli tires is naturally offered by Bike Fanatics. Check out our selection HERE.
